ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ICICI bank ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸੀਈਓ ਅਤੇ ਐਮਡੀ ਚੰਦਾ ਕੋਚਰਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੇ ਇਨਫੋਰਸਮੈਂਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟੋਰੇਟ (ED) ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ED ਨੇ ਚੰਦਾ ਕੋਚਰ ਦਾ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਸਥਿਤ ਫਲੈਟ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਦੀਪਕ ਕੋਚਰ ਦੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਸੰਪੱਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ attach ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਕੀਮਤ 78 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੱਸੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਚੰਦਾ ਕੋਚਰ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ, ICICI bank ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਲ 2012 ਵਿਚ Videocon ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ 3,250 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਕਰਜ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
