ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ 25 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 12:30 ਵਜੇ ਸਈਦ ਸਲਾਹੁਦੀਨ (Syed Salahuddin) ਦੇ ਕਾਫਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਹਮਲਾ ਇਸਲਾਮਾਬਾਦ (Islamabad) ਦੀ ਗਲੀ ਨੰਬਰ 8 ਨੇੜੇ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਸ ਹਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਈਦ ਸਲਾਹੁਦੀਨ (Syed Salahuddin) ਵੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਈਦ ਸਲਾਹੁਦੀਨ (Syed Salahuddin) ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਦਰਅਸਲ ਇਸ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ISI ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਂ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ ‘ਦਿ ਰੈਜੀਡੈਂਟ ਫਰੰਟ’ ਯਾਨੀ TRF ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸਈਦ ਸਲਾਹੁਦੀਨ (Syed Salahuddin), ISI ਤੋਂ TRF ਅਤੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਬੁਲ ਮੁਜਾਹਿਦੀਨ (Hizbul Mujahideen) ਨੂੰ ਫੰਡ ਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਕਾਰਨ ISI ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਸੀ।
