ਦੱਖਣੀ ਕੋਰੀਆ ਦੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਲਾੱਗਪੋਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹੁਣ PUBG mobile ਫ੍ਰੈਂਚਾਇਜ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ Tencent games ਲਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਹਫਤੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ PUBG mobile ਸਮੇਤ 118 ਹੋਰ ਚੀਨੀ ਐਪਸ ਤੇ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਸੀ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਾਨਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ (MeitY) ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਐਪਸ ” ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂਸੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਖੰਡਤਾ, ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਪੱਖਪਾਤ” ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
