ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਵਿਡ (covid) ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਕਾ ਲਗਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਦੇ ਫੈਲਾਅ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਫਰੰਟ ਲਾਈਨ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ (Punjab government) ਵਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਵਾਧੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਉਲੀਕੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਟੀਕਾਕਰਨ (Vaccine) ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮੌਤ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਮਾੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ।
ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਦੇ ਫੈਲਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟਾਫ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਟੈਸਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਪਾਜ਼ੇਟਿਵ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਪਾਜੇਟਿਵ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿਚ ਆਏ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੈਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਸ. ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ (Punjab School Education Board) ਨੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀਆਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੀਟਰ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਾਕ ਟਾਸਕ ਫੋਰਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਚਨਚੇਤ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਖਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਾਸਕ ਦੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਹਿੰਮਾਂ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਣ।
