ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਆਪੀ ਤਾਲਾਬੰਦੀ (Lockdown) ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ 25 ਮਾਰਚ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਵਲ ਕੋਰੋਨਾਵਾਇਰਸ (coronavirus) ਦੇ ਫੈਲਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣਾ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ 4,971 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਲੈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ 1.73 ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਕਰਮਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਤਾਲਾਬੰਦੀ (Lockdown) ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ 31 ਮਈ ਤੱਕ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ (containment zones) ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਈ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਘਟੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਤਾਲਾਬੰਦੀ (Lockdown) ਕਾਰਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕਤਾ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ-ਰੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਧਨ ਗੁਆ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਤਾਲਾਬੰਦੀ (Lockdown) ਦਾ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਪੜਾਅ 1 ਜੂਨ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਕਰਫਿਊ: ਲਾੱਕਡਾਉਨ 5 (Lockdown 5.0) ਵਿਚ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਕਰਫਿਊ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਰਾਤ 9 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸਵੇਰ 5 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰਾਤ 7 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸਵੇਰ 7 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸੀ।
ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ: 65 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਉਮਰ, ਸਹਿ-ਰੋਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ, ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅੱਤੇ 10 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਘਰ ਰਹਿਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਅੱਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਾ ਨਿਕਲਣ।
