WhatsApp Pay : ਹੁਣ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਪਲਬੱਧ

ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੁਣ ਇੰਸਟੈਂਟ ਮੈਸੇਜਿੰਗ ਐੱਪ WhatsApp ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ਪੈਸੇ ਭੇਜ ਸਕਣਗੇ। WhatsApp pay ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਸੇਵਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਪੇਮੈਂਟ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਆ (NPCI) ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ WhatsApp Payments ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਸੇਵਾ WhatsApp ਦੇ ਸਿਰਫ 2 ਕਰੋੜ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਆਪਣੇ UPI ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾ ਸੰਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜਾਅਵਾਰ ਵਧਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ WhatsApp ਯੂਜ਼ਰਸ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 400 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੈ।

WhatsApp Pay ਬਾਰੇ 5 ਖਾਸ ਗੱਲਾਂ

  1. WhatApp ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਇੱਕ UPI ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀ ਡੈਬਿਟ ਕਾਰਡ ਦਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਲਈ ਡੈਬਿਟ ਕਾਰਡ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੋਏਗੀ, ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾ ਇਸਦੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰ ਸਕਣਗੇ।
  2. ਆਪਣੇ WhatsApp ਨੂੰ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਬੀਟਾ ਵਰਜ਼ਨ ‘ਤੇ WhatsApp Pay ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
  3. WhatsApp Pay ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਗੂਗਲ ਪੇ (Google Pay), ਫੋਨ ਪੇ (Phone Pay), ਪੇਟੀਐਮ (PayTM) ਅਤੇ ਜੀਓ ਪੇ (JioPay) ਨੂੰ ਸਖਤ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਲਈ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਐਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾਉਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
  4. ਕੰਪਨੀ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ WhatsApp Payments ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।  ਵਟਸਐਪ ਸਿਰਫ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਰੀ ਝੰਡੀ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
  5. NPCI ਨੇ WhatsApp ਨੂੰ ਹਰੀ ਝੰਡੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਧਿਰ ਐਪ ਦ ਲਈ UPI ਲੈਣਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੈਅ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਕਿ 1 ਜਨਵਰੀ, 2021 ਤੋਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਯਮ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇੱਕ ਤੀਜੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਐਪ ਸਿਰਫ UPI ਦੇ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ 30% ਲੈਣ-ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
